Recently Shahid crossed path with ex girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. The former lovers were present for rehearsals at a recent awards function when their paths crossed backstage.

Kareena was walking with her friend Lovely Singh and secretary Zahid while Shahid was coming from the opposite direction. While witnesses saw Kareena spot him from a distance, she pretended not to have seen Shahid and headed straight past her former boyfriend, almost as if he didn’t exist. Shahid, on the other hand, was a little preoccupied and by the time he realised it was Kareena, she had already walked past. But he couldn’t resist turning back to look at her.

A source informs, “Kareena was scheduled to perform at the event and had just finished her rehearsals. Kareena decided to take a walk backstage while Shahid (who was also hosting a segment) was making his way towards the same area. Kareena looked like she didn’t notice him, but Shahid was quite surprised to see her.”

“It is sad to see that they can’t even exchange a polite hello, though they were once in a relationship. Neither of them has come clean on the reasons for the break-up. But even Kareena’s manager Zahid, who once also managed Shahid, didn’t feel the need to exchange any pleasantries with him.”

Out of all different movie promotion ideas, this one seems new. Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D’Souza spent a whole night sitting on the roof and bonnet of a car to promote their forthcoming film Chance Pe Dance.

Vada pao (bun) and tea vendors were present along with khatiyas (string cot) nearby for the audience. Both Shahid and Genelia had tea together.

In the film, Shahid plays a struggler who comes to Mumbai to make it big in the movies. The activity, which continued till 7 a.m Thursday, was planned as it resembles the lives of those who come to Mumbai to try their luck and also because a scene in the movie depicts it.

At a recent award ceremony, Harman Baweja staged a walkout when the host for the segment Shah Rukh Khan started teasing anchor Shahid Kapoor about his on-off romance with PC.

Harman, who was sitting with his sister Rowena, grabbed her hand and left the venue.

An eye-witness reveals, “Shah Rukh teased Shahid over his link up with PC and said how he manages to stay in the news because of that!

The joke, which was part of the script got a tad bit longer, causing discomfort to Harman who walked out right after that segment got over.”

However, Shahid seemed to be at a loss of words when SRK teased him on his blow hot-blow cold status with PC.

Tell us something about your character Alisha in ‘Pyaar Impossible.’ How was your experience doing the role.

It was an easy and simple role. Alisha is a modern girl. She is today’s person. The coolest thing about her is her attitude. She looks like she is unattainable. But she is a simple, lovable girl at heart. ‘Pyaar Impossibe’ is a film that you can watch with your family and kids.

How did you find Uday Chopra as a co star and co actor?

He is simply fantastic! During the shooting of the film I got very-very close to Uday. As a producer of the film he thoroughly spoilt me. I am really thankful to him that he gave me the wonderful opportunity of working in this film. After working with him I realized that he is a tremendous actor and he met every challenge I gave him in acting.

And finally, any more films coming up with Shahid Kapoor?

No.

How do you like him in the jeans ad, which was earlier rejected by Saif as now being up to the mark?

Even though they are said to have split, Shahid and Priyanka seem to be good friends online.

They never miss any opportunity to communicate with each other and even appreciate each other.

In fact, they seem to be in no mood to hide their mutual admiration and still call each other by their pet names. They also exchange messages on Twitter for the whole world to see.

The first promos of Priyanka’s “Pyar Impossible” went on air recently and Shahid did not miss his chance to comment on them. He told Priyanka that she looks super in the film.

Priyanka responded to him and posted: “Thanks Shak, you in Chance Pe Dance looking rocking too!”

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is all busy showing some generosity towards his choreographer Ahmad Khan and family.While shooting a song for Pathshala, at US, Shahid made arrangements for Ahmad his wife Saira and two sons to take off for Disneyland.

The story is that, Ahmad had been promising his two sons Azaan and Subhan a trip to Disneyland for months. Earlier when they shot in the US for another Yashraj Film Bachna Ae Haseenon, he kept hoping there would be time. But he couldn’t manage to get away. And this is where Shahid came to the rescue.

Shahid is all set for Ahmad Khan’s directorial project Pathshala. Though a two-hour movie, Shahid has only one-hour role. He comes in the mid-way as a teacher. And the buzz is that, more emphasis will be given on the kids other than the director and the actor during the film promotions.

Shahid Kapoor, who is currently on a high after the success of ‘Kaminey’, has got himself a brand new Range Rover SUV. The keys of the car were personally given to him by Ratan Tata.

Had Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor still been a couple, Kareena would have surely starred opposite him in his father Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut, Mausam.Pankaj had written the script of Mausam keeping Kareena in mind. This, of course, was when Kareena and Shahid’s relationship was going strong.
After the Shahid-Kareena break-up, Mausam got delayed to some extent since Pankaj Kapur had to drop his plan of casting Kareena and started considering other options for the lead actress. Also, Pankaj couldn’t get a producer for a long time before Religare Vistaar Entertainment came into the picture.

A source said, “Things are fine now but they can’t go back to Kareena saying that they want her to do the film. They are feeling quite awkward about asking her to star opposite Shahid and hence they have decided to launch a nationwide hunt to look for a girl who will be suitable for the film.”

While Pankaj rubbishes the information by saying Who told you this? I am still writing the script. How can I think of casting actors before I have completed my script? I will further talk when we are ready to roll.”

Producer Sheetal Talwar said, “Well, Shahid and Kareena look fabulous together on screen. But we are now having a nationwide hunt for the lead actress for Mausam.”

Kareena had no idea about this till contacted to ask what she has to say about Pankaj Kapur writing a script keeping in mind her and Shahid’s jodi. Clear about not mixing her personal and professional life,

Kareena said, “If they have a good script and a good role and ask me to do it, I see no reason why I shouldn’t.”
