The fact is that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are not exactly anxious to be seen together in public.
Take this week’s wedding in Jaipur, for instance, which both stars were invited to and which both attended… but separately!
Jaipur’s powerful politician and part-time actress Bina Kak, who played Salman’s bossy mother in Katrina Kaif’s film Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, had become genuinely fond of both stars during the shooting. So for her daughter Amrita’s wedding, Bina enthusiastically invited Salman and Katrina.
But people’s excitement at the thought of seeing the couple sing and dance together for three days of festivities was short-lived in Jaipur. For Katrina and Salman decided to attend the wedding on separate days. While she flew into Jaipur on Thursday afternoon in time for the mehendi, Salman attended the sangeet last night. Kat flew out of Jaipur before Salman’s arrival to attend a Raajneeti event in Delhi.
