Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar Raj releases next month. In the climax of the film, Abhishek Bachchan Abhishek’s character Shankar Nagre who joins his father in politics.In the climax scene of the movie his character is unexpectedly shot dead in the most gory manner.

This turn in the script is most unexpected. Everyone expects one of the supporting characters, to die. But it is Abhishek who is gunned down. The film then takes a dark turn and becomes depressing.

This turn of events in the film obviously is giving distributors cold feet. They are worried that Abhishek’s death might not go down too well with the audience. Says a industrywalla, “If Abhishek dies, Sarkar becomes an Amitabh movie. And the last memory of Amitabh and Ramu together is Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, and that’s giving distributors sleepless nights.”

Ramu, however denied that Abhishek dies at the end, while Bachchan says, “See the film.”
