Katrina Kaif’s parents are in Mumbai. They accompanied the actress to the special preview of Veer but were uncomfortable with the media attention and tried to hide their faces.

Aamir Khan also attended the special preview. However, Aamir appeared to have put on a good deal of weight. Aamir came in flip-flops, and wearing a casual shirt that really needed ironing!!!!

Salman Khan is an expert at evading personal questions, especially when the topic is Katrina Kaif or Aishwarya Rai. However, on Koel Purie’s chat show, the actor was in a care-a-damn mood and admitted on record that he was dating Katrina. Khan touched on every topic from his fight with Shah Rukh, his equation with ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai and his relationship with Katrina Kaif.

Salman wasn’t ready for the interview, but Koel grilled him on his set at Mehboob Studio. She asked him all sorts of questions, some of which were controversial. But Salman answered each and every one of them in monosyllables.

When asked point-blank if he was dating Katrina, Sallu replied with a loud ‘Yes!’ However, when the topic veered to his ex-girlfriend Ash, he wasn’t very comfortable. “Salman was asked if he would ever work with her, and he replied with a No! It was evident he didn’t want to revisit that chapter of his life.”

Apart from Ash and Kat, Sallu also spoke about his war with SRK. “He said that their lives were going in opposite directions and that they would never be friends again.”

Public: Will we ever see you and SRK in a movie?
Salman: “It’s not that we are husband and wife, you know… I’m not married to him. He’s an actor, I’m an actor, if there’s a film on the level of Karan and Arjun - definitely.

Koel: Recently you were both seen at Aamir’s premiere together. Was it awkward ?
Salman: No, not awkward. Maybe for him, not for me.

Koel: SRK says you are two parallel people running at different speeds. Do you buy into that?
Salman: No. We’re two different people, running in two different directions altogether.

Public: When can I expect another film pairing Ash and you, like the hit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam?
Salman: I don’t think ever.

Public: Who do you prefer: Katrina or Ash?
Salman: Definitely Katrina. Ash is married to Abhishek Bachchan, she’s very happy and I… definitely Katrina.

Koel: Firstly, are you still with Kat?
Salman: Ya ya… ya ya.

Public: Are you still in love with Ash?
Salman: No, buddy.

Public: Who’s the greatest Khan?
Salman: Yusuf Khan.

What happens when Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘close friend’ Katrina Kaif bumps into his ex-flame Deepika Padukone? It happened at a shoot recently and both girls exchanged cold stares before Katrina walked out, with her nose in the air. Needless to say, acknowledging each other was not on their agenda.

It may be recalled that Ranbir Kapoor became really close friends with Katrina Kaif while he was dating Deepika.

On Wednesday, Deepika was doing a magazine photo shoot in the open area of Mehboob Studio. An eyewitness reveals, “Deepika had come with Farhan Akhtar for her photo shoot. Somewhere around late afternoon, Deepika was giving her solo shots in the garden area of the studio. While Deepika was doing her last minute touch-up, there was pin drop silence and all eyes swivelled to the entrance. It was Katrina Kaif, who had accidentally walked in, thinking it was the venue where she was called for her shoot.”

The eyewitness continues, “Dressed in a short white skirt and a pink tee, Katrina walked in and froze for a second. Deepika, who was standing some distance away, saw her. Both had a few seconds of eye contact, and Katrina immediately took a U-turn and walked away.”

It’s hardly surprising given their history. Although Ranbir and Deepika are not seeing each other any more, the latter still has issues with Katrina. It was the growing friendship between Katrina and Ranbir which marked an end to her relationship.

As per sources, Ash was at the studio shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’, while Katrina was there to shoot for an ad. Present on location to give interviews for his film ‘Veer’, the actor was heard telling his assistant, “Yeh kya ho raha hai? Pagal ho gaye ho kya?”

After giving a hurried interview, the actor made a quick exit even as the Ash and Kat carried on casually with their assignments.

Queen of hearts, Katrina Kaif has no films after Raajneeti, ‘officially’. So, rumours are abuzz that Kat is calling all the producers and directors from her contact list to consider her for their next projects. Is Salman Khan not bothered about her career?

Post her surgery in Mumbai, Katrina flew off to London claiming to spend New Year’s Eve with her family. Katrina, who ushers in the New Year with her mother and siblings each year, was particularly thrilled about the family reunion this time round, because she was looking forward to playing with her sister’s little son. But apparently, family has been sidelined in favor of some companionship.

One can’t help but wonder how she planned to keep her jaunt to New York a secret. It’s a small, small world after all. When we called her grandmother’s place in London, a relative said, “Oh, but Katrina is in New York.”

However Katrina said, “I’m very much in London. It’s a joke in my family about me being in New York because I’m harassed by many calls.”

Kaif also skipped Salman Khan’s birthday in favour of New York. Ranbir and Katrina met on the sets of Raajneeti but their friendship really took off when they shot Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. For the last few months, Ranbir has been in an on-off relationship with Deepika Padukone.

A new trend seems to have caught up with Bollywood babes and that is of short dresses! The actresses in an attempt to show-off their toned up bodies and sexy legs are going the short way.

As her hemoglobin count continues to plummet, Katrina’s health is causing distress to all those who know her.

Everyone around Katrina, well-wishers, co-stars, friends and family are beginning to be extremely worried about Katrina’s deteriorating health. On Sunday she was again at a suburban hospital to take further tests as her haemoglobin count continued to fall, despite treatment from the best doctors in the city.

Though Katrina has been extremely selective recently about the appearances she makes, she is obviously still straining too much and it is affecting her adversely.

On Sunday Katrina woke up unable to get out of bed. The worst blow to her frail energy level was the hectic wedding of Salman Khan’s close family-friend Krishan Narayan’s daughter which Katrina attended for two consecutive nights on Friday and Saturday for the sangeet and wedding.

Forgetting her delicate health, Katrina had simply let herself go, dancing and having a good time.

A friend explained, “It was a commitment she couldn’t wriggle out of. The bride’s father, an associate of politician Praful Patel, is a very close friend of Salman Khan. And Katrina who has always looked at Salman’s friends as her own, had to be there.”

The result of two consecutive nights of merry-making was a relapse. On Sunday Katrina had to undergo a series of complicated medical tests that went on the whole day

The friend continued, “Katrina’s haemoglobin count continues to plummet. The doctors are perplexed by this. They can’t figure out what is causing this abnormality in her blood. She has been prescribed complete bed rest.”
